What you'll need Liquid Nails - $5.90 Spray Paint - $5.90 Gorilla Glue - $12.80   Malamine Edging (5m $6.36 - 20m $14.17) Brackets 8pk - $5.14 Magnets (any) Screws (any 12mm) Wood: 42 x 19mm (1.2m $5.02ea - or - 1.8m $8.65ea) ( prices are current as of 15th March 2026 ) Glue sets of 2 of the wood lengths together Cut the wood lenghts to size with a 5cm difference 2cm, 7cm, 12cm, 17cm, 22cm, 27cm, etc... Glue the wood lengths together (Tip* Make sure the bottoms are all even) Glue the stand to a wood length to flatten the bottom Screw in the brackets with a gap for your magnet height ( Tip* Make a dummy shelf with magnets glued on) Measure distance to glue magents to bottom of shelf (Tip* if end shelf, measure 2 lengths wide) (Tip* if middle shelf, measure 1 lenght wide) Apply glue and magnets (Tip* Apply some pressure so magnet is flat) Iron on the malamine edging (Tip* bluetack a baseplate on shelf to guage height) (Remove basplate before ironing over or it will glue on) Paint everything black Completed!
